Matt Winter turned a knack for finding and collecting vintage pieces into an interior design career. While he has found his niche, his job is much more than filling a space with furniture and lighting fixtures from a certain era. Matt’s goal is to create an environment that completely encompasses an era and makes anyone that walks into the space feel as though they have stepped into that era. Instead of acquiring chairs modeled after a 1930’s design, he finds chairs that were actually made in the 1930’s. He wants to remind people of true craftsmanship and how things used to be made.
“For me it’s not a competition. This is what I’m doing, I am gonna do it the best I can and hopefully give something back to the design world. ” -Matt Winter
